This tour will take you on a beautiful walk along the edge of Skeikampen and the view from the top is fantastic. Here you get a great view of mountains and the Peer Gynt Road, Jotunheimen and Rondane, and the golf course and the surrounding area. Take the easiest and fastest way up by the chairlift, or go up yourself. Choose the one that suits you best.
Follow the gravel road up towards the top. When the road ends, follow the slalomroute up. When you come up to the chairlifts top station, follow the path that runs east to the stonecabin. Here you come easily onto the yellow trail. Follow the trail for about 1 hour until you reach a crossing where the yellow trail crosses the orange trail. If you choose to go to the right, the trail about 3 km long and you follow the path just under the edge of Skeikampen. Here you get a good view of the golf course. Or you can follow the trail to the left, then it is about 4 km to go. This route takes you on the west side of the mountain overlooking the Peer Gynt Road, Skeistua and Skei Mountain Church
